Movie Monologue Assignment
Performance: October 23rd, in front of an audience
Choose a monologue from a movie.  It must be 180 words or something close.  You can find the script online, or you can copy the words of a DVD by using the subtitles. 
It can be funny or serious.  I recommend serious, because it is difficult to do comedy alone.  What if nobody else thinks you are funny?  You can copy the style of the actor in the movie, or use your own interpretation. 
I recommend choosing a monologue and then searching online to see if you can get the script.  There are many websites with scripts from movies or collections of movie monologues. 
Below are a few examples of the kinds of sites you can use to get the text of movie monologues:
